How a CSA Market Share Works
1. Sign up and pay for your share before the harvest season begins. This helps us with our operating budget ahead of the season.
2. Visit our pickup locations to use your market share balance to purchase vegetables at 10%-15% off our retail prices. ***Simply shop at the market at your convenience for the veggies you enjoy. ***Since there are times when vegetables are available to harvest in limited quantities, members are given the opportunity to order ahead. |

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Traditionally, the CSA movement began as a way for community members to support local agriculture in exchange for food security and food sovereignty, while connecting them directly to their high quality, local food source.
By purchasing a "share" of the harvest before the growing season begins, members support the operating budget of the growing season while also sharing in the risk of unpredictable growing conditions. When consumers are disconnected from the production of food, it is easy to have unrealistic expectations of their food supply. In reality, nature humbles us with surprises each season. Being part of the process helps customers appreciate the bounty! |
